Firmware upgradeable

- Factory firmware directly support AVR Studio 5.
- Firmware updates can update the firmware to support AVR Studio 6 or AVR Studio 4.
- If your PC using AVR Studio 4, you may want to support AVR Studio 4. Reduced AVR Studio 4, you can still upgrade the firmware upgrade to support AVR Studio 5 or AVR Studio 6.
- In the future, ATMEL AVR will introduce more models, the new device will be added to the AVR Studio model list of supported devices. When you need to use in the future development of new models, upgrade AVR Studio, upgrade firmware, would have to be supported by new models.

- AVR Studio 5, AVR Studio 6 supports all AVR, AVR32 part number.
(Although, AVR Studio 6 support for ARM devices but requires additional hardware development tools used in conjunction with, and, mkII does not support ARM)
